Erika Feinman, Student Association president, ex-officio
Erika Feinman is a B.A. candidate in Political Science and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the George Washington University. Erika serves as the president of the Student Association, which represents 26,000 undergraduate and graduate students. This academic year, Erika will be focusing on creating academic opportunities, improving affordability, and amplifying the student voice.
Prior to their presidency, Erika served as a Senator representing the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. As a Senator, Erika worked on a variety of initiatives including revoking Bill Cosby's honorary degree, reforming the financial bylaws of the Student Association, advocating for Kosher and Halal meal options to be served at the Mount Vernon campus dining hall, and publishing a list of critical resources to GW's Blackboard system. Last year, Erika also served as president of the Feminist Student Union and remains an active member. Erika is also a member of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority and an active member of Allied in Pride, GW's largest LGBTQ+ student organization. Erika is proud to serve as the first openly non-binary student body president.
