Grace Speights is a partner in Morgan Lewis’ Labor & Employment Law Practice and is the Global Leader of that practice. She handles high profile and high stakes workplace matters for many clients and provides crisis management assistance. Specifically, Grace leads the firm’s multidisciplinary workplace culture consulting team of more than 30 lawyers across offices and practices. Combining employment and workplace law experience with investigative expertise, Grace and her team help employers effectively investigate claims of sexual harassment and racial discrimination and inequities, as well as complete organizational culture assessments for diversity and inclusion. In 2018, Grace was recognized for her efforts in spearheading high-profile internal investigations and counseling corporations on navigating the new workplace paradigm in the wake of the #MeToo movement and was named the Attorney of the Year by The American Lawyer. In 2021, Grace was named the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s Women Lawyer of the Year.
Grace received her B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979, and her J.D. degree with honors and as a member of the Order of the Coif from the George Washington University Law School in 1982. She is a member of the George Washington University Board of Trustees, where she serves as Chair of the Board.
