Robert Tanenbaum

Robert Tanenbaum is a principal in Lerner Enterprises, the largest privately held real estate development and management company in the Washington, D.C. area.  He also is a principal owner and vice chairman of the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball Club.  Born in Rochester, New York, Mr. Tanenbaum is a summa cum laude graduate of Union College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  He moved to Washington in 1979 to attend law school at The George Washington University.  He is a member of The Federal City Council, and is a former member of the Vassar College Board and is currently on their Investment Committee. He is also involved in a variety of other educational, political and community activities.
